Color Study 001

Its been awhile hope everyone is doing well out there. So here is a color thumbnail study (no color picking) I did today trying to get comfortable using color overall.

Two quick ones for today.

Super fast and rough, just trying to practice. Still need to figure out a process that makes sense to me. Always more to figure out.

She Sings.

So I haven't posted on my blog for a little bit, but i'm back with color this time. I did this pretty quickly. What takes me a little bit more time is fussing with the final look, all the tiny brightness, contrast, fx tweaks. I had to tell myself to just leave it alone since this was meant to be a fast paint sketch. I hope you like it. It turned out pretty nicely.

Oh this was based off a photo I found on flickr...I'll post that later.
