Saw these photographs of camera view finders taken by Meggan Gould and used it to frame these old dudes I just sketched up. Turned out pretty interesting.

Did some bear sketches. Just messing around with different things.

More fiddling around in the photoshopss. I normally don't post really rough rough sketches (bottom image) but thought some of the silhouettes had some nice things going on. Will probably pick a couple to push further...

Smokey smoke

Created this smokey brush using a version of the soft brush stroke lower left hand corner. Tweaking a bunch of random brush dynamics I achieved a pretty neat flamey/smokey brush. I did these little blue smoke characters to further test it.

I've been hitting my sketchbook pretty hard lately, partially because my computer has been not nice to me. I forget sometimes how enjoyable drawing and exploring different things with pen/brush/pencil/marker and paper can be.
